Chris, Jordan, Jay and Alberto, aka Kaos Theory, are set to re-inject the UK music scene with boy band fever, starting with a free download of their self-penned track ‘Would You Listen’ on 25 July.
We caught up with these four hot guys to chat about their music, pulling, Pride, male attention and world domination.
Individually, what do each of you bring to Kaos Theory?
We all bring something fresh and original to Kaos Theory. Chris is always putting together harmonies and finding interesting things to do with different songs. Alberto has been working very hard teaching us all Spanish, Portuguese and Italian - the kid can speak a million different languages.
Jordan is the charismatic, cool one of the bunch - don’t tell him I said this, but he’s pretty funny as well - he’s a wicked dancer and helps out with choreography. And Jay is the quiet one - he’s really laid back and chilled out about everything.
So, which one of you gets the most male attention then?!
Erm - Jordan or Alberto!
You recently performed at Blackpool Pride – how did that go?
Blackpool Pride was a really good day - the Prides are always brilliant shows to do. The audience is always really up for it!
Finish the sentence: Gay audiences are...
Fun, crazy, stylish - take your pick.
"We’ll sing for anybody, anywhere. We’ve been known to sing for strangers in the street."
You’re about to unleash a free download of your track ‘Would You Listen’ – tell us a bit about the song...
It’s just a really nice song that everyone can relate to about asking someone whether they would stand by you no matter what. Oh, and it was written by us as well.
Is the track representative of your music as a whole?
Not really, we normally do more up tempo, attitudey tracks (if that's a word), but it shows a different side to us and has a really raw, live feel about it.

You’ve done Pride – do you ever hit the gay clubs on a night out?
Yeah, we do a lot of touring so we’ve been to all the clubs, gay or straight. It makes no difference to us - we just want to have a good time.
Finish the sentence: A good night out starts with...
Good company.
It ends with...
Good company - ha.
So, are you the best of mates or rivals when it comes to pulling?
We’re usually the best of mates and tend to have different types, but a little healthy competition never hurt anyone.
"We do a lot of touring so we’ve been to all the clubs, gay or straight. It makes no difference to us - we just want to have a good time."
What would be your fantasy gig?
Erm - our own world tour supported by Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga, Usher and Justin Timberlake. Oh, and it would be free for anyone who wanted to come.
We understand that you’ve been getting some feedback from Elton John – has he given you guys any good advice about your music or the industry?
Not sure if he is a fan, you would have to ask him. Chris has known him since Pop Idol and you always listen to someone like Elton - the man is a legend.

What’s the best thing about being in a band?
Being able to travel with your best mates doing what you love, performing to anyone who’ll listen. Literally, anyone who’ll listen - we’ll sing for anybody, anywhere. We’ve been known to sing for strangers in the street.
What are the biggest stresses in the band?
Sometimes you miss your friends from home and family, but it’s all definitely worth it!
What is Kaos Theory’s main mission?
World domination. Mwa ha ha ha ha ha.
Anything to add?
Yeah, wicked chatting with you. Make sure all you guys get onto our Facebook - search for Kaos Theory - leave a comment and we’ll get back to you. If you can, try to come see us at a gig soon. See ya!
